Microneedle- Dr. Pen™ is a revolutionary micro-needling skincare device which aims to tighten, lift and rejuvenate your skin. It is a cosmetic procedure that uses small, sterilized needles to prick the skin, known as micro-punctures. The purpose of this treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue formation to smooth, firm, and tone skin. Microneedling is mostly used on the face and neck to reduce the appearance of acne scars, sun damage, wrinkles, and large pores. It’s also recommended that you avoid using agents that may increase the sensitivity of your skin, like topical retinoids and exfoliants before your microneedling appointment.

Twilight Facial

Twilight Facial (PRP Microneedle)- Microneedling with PRP is a cosmetic treatment that helps with several issues: acne scars, dark circles, large pores, hyperpigmentation/sun damage, wrinkles, and other anti-aging signs. Similar to standard microneedling, the provider uses a microneedle pen to make micro-punctures on the skin’s surface during the treatment, but while infusing platelet-rich plasma drawn from the patient’s own blood. The process induces collagen production and rejuvenates the skin by applying PRP topically to enhance the effects of microneedling. Platelet-Rich Plasma contains proteins, including growth factors and cytokines that help skin tissue repair itself. The addition of PRP to a microneedling procedure may speed up the healing process and stimulate skin renewal, producing better results than standard microneedling alone. This accelerates downtime post-procedure. PRP Microneedling can also be used to promote hair growth in patients with alopecia.

MicroTox Facial

Combines minimally invasive penetrative benefits of standard microneedling with the skin tightening effects of botulinum toxin. Xeomin neurotoxin and hyaluronic acid is injected through the open channels created in the epidermis by the microneedling. The Xeomin does not reach facial musculature and, therefore, serves to temporarily tighten the skin, shrink pores and reduce acne. The microneedling can nourish the surface of your skin with complimentary serums and strengthen its lower layers, while Botox stops the signs of aging and improves the overall appearance of your skin. .

Side Effects of Microneedling

Side effects: Recovery from microneedling is usually quick. People may experience some soreness and tenderness immediately after the treatment. The area may have pin-point bleeding, redness, and may be some mild bruising, which usually clears within 3–5 days.
Other side effects that can happen while the skin heals, include:
• oozing
• swelling
• milia
• a mild flare-up of acne
Avoid picking and touching the skin during the healing process. Taking acetaminophen can help relieve any discomfort or “sun-burnt” sensation post-procedure.

Plasma Pen

Plasma pens are pen-like devices that treat a variety of skin conditions through fibroblast-stimulating therapy. Some of these conditions include fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, skin tags, acne scars, cherry angiomas, and sunspots. This non-invasive cosmetic procedure works by channeling electrical currents or plasma arcs of energy to release plasma gas (thermal energy mixed with oxygen & nitrogen) to the skin. Before your procedure, your skin will be cleansed and numbed with an anesthetic cream. The Plasma Pen is held close to the skin but does not come into contact with it.
While the electric current emitted by the Plasma Pen creates these arcs, it causes micro-wounds, appearing as scabs, to trigger skin cell regeneration, collagen, fibroblast and elastin production. These scabs, also called carbon crusts, produce an instant tightening effect. The Plasma Pen stimulates the body to naturally heal and regenerate. The tiny scabs disappear after 5-10 days, while the treated area is left tightened, smoothed, and youthful.

What are wrinkle relaxers?

Botulinum Toxin

Is a neuromuscular blocking agent indicated in adult patients for the temporary improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and forehead. Results appear within 1-2 weeks and last 3-6 months. Results may vary.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

Is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles, used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows in adults.

Xeomin

Xeomin is a newer alternative to Botox. They both contain the main active ingredient called Botulinum toxin A, effectively sharing the same result. The main difference between the two is that Xeomin uses the purest form of botulinum toxin, without some added proteins that Botox contains. This, however, makes little to no difference in the overall result.

Lash Lift

Lash Lift

Lash Lift (aka Lash Perm)- No matter how much mascara you apply, sometimes your lashes just need an extra boost. And while lash extensions are always an option, they require far more maintenance then the lash lift. It is essentially a perm for your natural lashes, this relatively low-maintenance process lifts and curls your own lashes long-term, allowing them to appear longer and healthier. It curls your lash from base to tip so that you can see the full length of your lashes. The results typically last six to eight weeks, depending on how quickly your lashes grow & shed.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion gently exfoliates and polishes away the top layer of dead skin cells which tend to build up as a result of lack of exfoliation, oil production, improper product use, and weather changes. This procedure is a great way to achieve healthy, glowing skin with little down time. Diamond tip microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive skin exfoliation treatment for a smoother, brighter, more youthful complexion. A diamond tipped wand is used for the exfoliation of dead skin cells and promotion of skin rejuvenation. It can be used to treat minor acne scars, patchy hyperpigmentation, sun damage, and age spots.
